Registration & Booking Periods

• Registration Opens: 18 June 2025 via the Oxford Admissions Test Registration portal

• Registration Closes: 19 September 2025, at 6pm BST

• Booking Opens: 18 August 2025, from 1pm BST. Once registration has been done, a link will be available on the candidate’s dashboard to book via Pearson VUE

• Booking Closes: 26 September 2025 at 6pm BST

  
  

Test Dates

• The TSA will be offered on 21, 22, 23, 24 & 27 October 2025

• Note: Not all test dates have testing at every centre; when booking, candidates select from available dates at their preferred Pearson VUE test centre

  
  

Who Must Take Which Section

• Section 1 (Multiple‐Choice; ~90 minutes): Required for most of the courses that use TSA—Economics & Management; Experimental Psychology; History & Economics; Human Sciences; Psychology, Philosophy & Linguistics; etc.

• Section 2 (Writing Task; ~30 minutes): Also required if applying for Philosophy, Politics & Economics (PPE)

  
  

Access Arrangements / Special Requirements

• If you require access arrangements (reasonable adjustments), you must upload supporting evidence (from a medical or educational specialist) when you register

• Approval time: Standard adjustments may take ~5 working days; non-standard may take 10 or more. It’s recommended to do this as early as possible, ideally before booking opens

  
  

Key Requirements

• UCAS ID is mandatory to register. You must have started your UCAS application to get a UCAS ID, though it does not have to be submitted at registration time. The email used in your Oxford test registration must match the one used in UCAS

• All tests are computer-based, delivered in Pearson VUE test centres globally

  
  

Timeline & Results

• After the test dates in October, Oxford receives all admissions test results in enough time to inform shortlisting (November) for interviews

• Candidates’ results (Section 1 scores, etc.) are shared after interviews / by January
