Registration and Booking Opens:

Account Creation and Booking: 13 May 2025

Registration for UCAT opens on 13 May 2025 at 09:30 BST. This is when you can open your UCAT account, apply for access arrangements (if needed), and apply for a bursary if eligible. Booking your test slot opens on 17 June 2025 at 06:00 BST. Because most test centres fill up fast, especially over summer, early booking is strongly recommended.

Deadline for Registration/Booking:

All Applicants: 19 September 2025 (12:00 noon BST)

Both registration and booking close at 12:00 BST on 19 September 2025. After this point you will not be able to schedule a UCAT test for 2025 entry. Missing this deadline means waiting for the next cycle. Be sure you finish all steps—account creation, access arrangements, bursary if needed—before this deadline.

Testing Period:

7 July – 26 September 2025

You may sit the UCAT any time between 7 July 2025 and the last test day of 26 September 2025. All tests must be completed within this window. Note that the test is delivered at Pearson VUE centres throughout the UK and internationally. Only one attempt per admissions cycle is permitted.

Access Arrangement & Bursary Deadlines:

• Access Arrangement Application Deadline: 16 September 2025 (12:00 BST) — if you need extra time or special accommodation.

Results Release:

Candidates will receive their UCAT results (i.e. section scores) immediately after the test or soon after. Universities receive the results automatically, usually early November 2025, well ahead of or around the UCAS deadline of 15 October for medical/dental courses.
